Nepal will compete in a 16-team Global Qualifier for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2028 after the International Cricket Council (ICC) approved a revised qualification pathway and new tournament format at its Annual General Meeting in Edinburgh. Twelve teams have already secured direct qualification for the 2028 tournament in Australia and New Zealand based on performances at the 2026 T20 World Cup and ICC rankings.
